Steve Mygrant is an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Asset Recovery and Money Laundering Division.  Steve worked as a state prosecutor at the Clackamas County District Attorney’s Office for over eleven years prosecuting a wide range of crimes including homicide, fraud, and drug trafficking offenses.  In 2007, Steve co-authored Oregon Senate Bill 464, which was later signed into law by Governor Kulongoski creating a new crime of Aggravated Identity Theft pursuant to ORS 165.800.  After three years of working as a cross-designated state and federal prosecutor, Steve joined the U.S. Attorney’s Office full-time in 2014 where he now focuses on prosecuting money laundering offenses and handling criminal and civil forfeiture matters.
